Something of an homage to one of our favourite British fruited sours, this is a blend of two beers, both of which were aged in Pinot Noir barrels for 18 months. The time in barrel has lent them a rounded, soft flavour with notes of coconut & vanilla from the wood. An assertive sour bite & full tannin structure balance with the 200 g/l damson & plum addition on which the beer spent two months before packaging. Damson dryness to start followed by the sweetness of cherries & marzipan with a long, tart finish.
